Overview

An “out & back” walk to the summit of Moel y Llan (241 m 800 ft) over farmland, moorland and short sections on minor roads, from the summit there is an excellent view of Bala, the lake, the Aran, Arenig and Berwyn mountains and as far as Cader Idris. The walk starts and finishes at the Gorwelion Centre, formerly the Cywain Centre, which provides parking toilets and a cafe/restaurant (check if open).

This walk is over farmland with cattle - dogs not recommended. No refreshments or toilets, other than at the start if open.
